Designing for a brand as beloved and mission-led as Altar'd State required something more than just creativity; it demanded clarity, alignment, and trust. From day one, the SOFG design team collaborating with Chute Gerdeman, moved toward the goal of translating Altar'd State's values into a physical space that welcomes, inspires, and gives back. That balance, between emotional connection and performance, is never easy.

More than a store, Easton is a space designed to inspire, uplift, and celebrate the beauty in every moment. Whether you’re shopping for your next event or simply treating yourself, we’ve created a place where you can feel your best, inside and out.

The exterior is a true work of art, featuring a custom 3D-printed facade that moves with light and shadow, inspired by the gentle flow of fabric and water. Inside, the atmosphere is warm and romantic, with details drawn from the worlds of boutique hospitality and graceful home design.

Shopping here feels like stepping into your dream closet! As you explore, you’ll find specialty boutiques around the perimeter, each offering a curated selection to inspire your personal style, while the center showcases our favorite beauty, jewelry, and accessory collections

And when it’s time to try things on? You’re in for a treat. With 22 beautifully appointed fitting rooms and a calming lounge space called the Sanctuary, every part of the experience is designed to make you feel seen, celebrated, and at peace. Thoughtfully furnished with pieces from Altar’d State Home, the space feels more like a cozy retreat than a dressing room—inviting, elegant, and made to inspire.

Utilizing a collaborative effort in developing three new Altar’d State stores located at Easton Town Center in Columbus, OH, Tyson’s Corner, VA and International Plaza in Tampa, FL, was created in partnership with the internal SOFG design team and Chute Gerdeman. Fred Olivieri Construction and Commercial Contractors, Inc., were the general contractors. The KCI Works team fabricated the custom millwork at the cash wrap, back counter, back wrap cabinetry, library units, and components of the Sanctuary area.
