Paint/Finish Manager

The Paint/Finish Manager will be proficient in sanding, staining, and spraying to ensure the quality expectations of KCI Works are met. The finishes and finished projects will be upheld to the highest professional standards with a focus on quality and detail. A key aspect of this position is the ability to estimate times accurately on project completion(s); this will include accurate time estimates on sanding, drying, etc. to ensure all work is completed under the project time requirements.

The Paint/Finish Manager must have a strong working knowledge of the science of finished products. This includes the ability to mix certain paints/compounds to create the exact color a client is looking for in their finished product. An understanding of the chemistry behind the finishes and paints for maximum project efficiency and user safety is required. This level of professional understanding will be required for project success and to assist your team in reaching their set goals.  

The Paint/Finish Manager will check and maintain all Finish Room Inventory while providing consistent reporting on shortages and overages of materials. This will include keeping records of paint samples and finishes used from past completed projects. The Paint/Finish Manager will be responsible for keeping their work area clean and free of any hazards (this includes all equipment used). The removal of any hazardous materials done by the Paint/Finish Manager will be done to OSHA and KCI Works standards. Protective equipment must be worn at all times during said removal.

 

Custom Millwork/Cabinet Maker

The Custom Millwork/Cabinet Maker is responsible for fabricating cabinets/fixtures/displays to the quality level dictated by the nature of the project within the allotted job timeline. They will be expected to utilize their preexisting knowledge and expertise to succeed in their assigned duties. Equally, they will be required to have an open mind to learning new techniques and construction methods to ensure project success.

The Custom Millwork/Cabinet Maker must be flexible in their ability to work independently or as a team when completing set job assignments. The ability to read blueprints and cut bills will vastly improve the success of any candidate

 

Production Technician

Production Technicians are responsible for supporting the day-to-day workflow and ensuring team member success for each face of the company. Production personnel help facilitate information, materials, tools, and equipment needed to complete company projects within their designated time frames. Work will range from front office duties; to shop fabrication and assembly; and to shipping, receiving and installation duties.

The Production Technician’s goal is to streamline as many processes as possible for maximum workplace efficiency while maintaining safety standards. They will be required to possess a strong work ethic completing set tasks both individually and as a team member. The Production Technician must have strong multitasking, time management, and interpersonal skills to create maximum impact on workplace efficiency.
