GENJIGO fresh hibachi bowls are a convenient way to enjoy your Japanese steakhouse favorites. The concept was born from the idea that amazing hibachi-style Japanese food could be offered without the usual wait required at a traditional Japanese steakhouse.

Strategy

GENJIGO features high-quality ingredients prepared by specially trained chefs. The steak is fresh USDA Choice sirloin. The chicken is fresh all-natural whole chicken breast. They only serve fresh vegetables, hand-cut in their kitchens. The famous Yum Yum sauce and Ginger sauce are made in-house. And you can customize your bowl with the meats, rice, veggies and sauces you like.

 To support this market position, the design features an open kitchen concept to highlight the freshness of ingredients and made to order customization. The new prototype design offers both dine-in or no contact pick-up area for those customers who prefer carryout.

Result

The owners of GENJIGO selected Floresta Partners as their design team for the project.  Working together with Mark L Construction, who was the general contractor, our team at KCI Works fabricated and installed the new no-contact pick-up display unit, order counter and trash receptacle.

Customer feedback has consistently hit high marks and the restaurant team feels the pride of ownership. With this new Westerville location, GENJIGO has grown to seven locations throughout Columbus, Ohio with more on the way.
